Albert Camus was best known as the novelist, playwright and essayist. He became so famous with his quotes because of his novels. His first debut novel was The Stranger (1942) which was about the questions about the meaning of life. Then it was followed by the other novels, The Plague (1947), and The Fall (1956).  In 1957, he got the Nobel Prize for his literary works, which was very important as a literary figure.

Other works about essays, Albert Camus had inspiring essay works. His most philosophical essay was called The Myth of Sisyphus (1942) and the Caligula (1945).
